AEW appeared like a great place to work when they opened their doors, but it seems that the cracks are starting to form. Tony Khan is leading AEW in his own direction, and his tactics were seen as less than professional along the way.

Ringside News exclusively reported that Tony Khan’s behavior backstage was an issue in AEW. There is more to this story, and efforts to take the workload off AEW’s President.

A source with direct knowledge of the situation told us that someone in a high-ranking position backstage told Tony Khan that he quit the company following a night of explosive outbursts. Then Khan took action in a fast manner.

We are told that Tony Khan “chased him down” and “promised to change his behavior.” After that, Tony Khan promoted Sonjay Dutt, Pat Buck, and the others to help with the workload.

We are told that Tony Khan is doing his best at “curbing his temperament” while at AEW television tapings now. Only time will tell if this situation improves or if Tony Khan slips back into, what we are told, was behavior worse than Vince McMahon and Kevin Dunn.
