WWE is set to present tonight’s edition of SmackDown from the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit. The August 26th, 2022, edition of the blue brand will continue to build the hype around Clash at the Castle, and now we have details on WWE’s planned lineup for SmackDown this week.

Sean Sapp provided WWE’s planned lineup for SmackDown from behind his paywall. For those who aren’t aware, WWE will tape the September 2nd, 2022 episode of SmackDown in advance as they’ll be heading to the United Kingdom for Clash at the Castle next week.

Ricochet vs. Happy Corbin

Drew Mcintyre promo. We’ve been told Sami Zayn, Scarlett and Karrion Kross could be involved.

Last Chance Fatal Four Way Women’s Tag Tourney match

Sheamus promo. Gunther, Ludwig Kaiser, Butch and Ridge Holland are scheduled

Tourney match: Natalya & Sonya vs. Raquel & Aliyah.

New Day promo with VIking Raiders

Maximum Male Models and Hit Row are scheduled for a segment

Drew McIntyre vs. Sami Zayn

Usos are scheduled for the show tonight, as is Bayley

As previously noted, former WWE Champion JBL is set to make a special appearance on the show in Detroit. As always, Ringside News will have full coverage of SmackDown.
