Monday Night Raw was live from Toronto, Canada this week and featured hometown hero, Edge, in the main event. Edge’s wife, WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix, was in the crowd to watch her husband take on Damian Priest.

Edge and Priest had a grueling back and forth match before Edge picked up the win. After the match, Edge grabbed two chairs from the outside to put a con-chair-to on Priest. As he was going for the finishing touches, Rhea Ripley came from behind him with a low blow.

The Judgement Day then attacked Edge, including a Coup de Grace from Finn Balor. The group then picked up two chairs of their own to try their hand at a con-chair-to to ‘The Rated R Superstar.’

Beth Phoenix had a different idea though, as she entered the ring and snatched the chair away from Rhea Ripley. The two women stared off, as Ripley looked in disbelief. The show ended with Phoenix and Edge each holding a chair as the heel retreated to the back.

This was Beth Phoenix first time back in a WWE ring since this year’s Royal Rumble, where she and Edge defeated The Miz and Maryse. We will keep an eye on this to see if this leads to a potential mixed tag match down the line between Judgement Day and Edge with Beth Phoenix.
