Xia Brookside Confirms Her WWE NXT UK Release

Xia Brookside was one of the promising young stars of WWE’s NXT UK brand. At only 23 years old, the UK native debuted in the second Mae Young Classic. Xia Brookside has now been released from WWE.

WWE’s NXT UK brand is going through a lot of changes and quite a few talent were handed their release so far. Xia Brookside has also been added to the list of departed talent. Flash Morgan Webster, Millie McKenzie, Primate, and more were released from the brand on August 18th.

Xia is the daughter of WWE Performance Center coach Robbie Brookside. Robbie is a British wrestling legend who once tagged with William Regal in the UK. Xia Brookside has some big shoes to fill, but she’s doing it in both her professional and personal life. Xia recently took to Twitter to address her WWE exit. She thanked Triple H and WWE for all the opportunities.

WWE announced NXT UK would go on hiatus in September and become NXT Europe in 2023. Triple H stated that changing NXT UK to NXT Europe will bring a lot of variety and diversity to the product. We’ll have to see what the future holds for Xia Brookside next.
