Drew McIntyre has been getting a great deal of attention ever since in WWE. He’s claimed the title of WWE champion twice, and now he is set to face off against Roman Reigns at Clash At The Castle PPV. He could get his old theme “Broken Dreams” back in time for the pay-per-view as well.

McIntyre seems to be taking some time off before his scheduled appearance. PW Insider was able to confirm reports that the WWE superstar was pulled from a few upcoming WWE live events due to his back problems.

The live events where McIntyre will no longer be appearing are set in Salisbury, MD, and Atlantic City, NJ. The star is not dealing with an injury, but rather issues with his lower back, which results in soreness.

Drew McIntyre last appeared on the latest episode of SmackDown. The star had the same issue last year as well. However, he went through intense rehabilitation and came back just in time for the 2022 Royal Rumble.

McIntyre recently revealed that the general vibe in WWE backstage after the transition in WWE leadership was positive. He also took a vow that his fans will be blown away by his special project that’s set to take place before WWE Clash At The Castle. McIntyre is in line for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, so his upcoming match might go down as one of his greatest ever against Roman Reigns in front of over 70,000 people.
