Vince McMahon was part of numerous headlines back in June after it was revealed that he secretly paid $3 million as settlement to a departing employee. McMahon was under investigation right after this, and he had to retire. Kurt Angle isn’t convinced that McMahon is fully retired.

It was later revealed that McMahon also paid $12 million in hush money to quite a few women over the last twenty years, In the end, this proved to be the nail in the coffin for McMahon as he retried right after this.

In fact, an additional $5 million dollars of unrecorded expenses were linked to Vince McMahon. While speaking on the Cafe de Rene podcast, Kurt Angle made it clear that he doubts McMahon is fully retired from WWE.

“I personally don’t think he’s fully retired. You know Vince, he’s gonna be behind-the-scenes [laughs]. Vince is not letting go of that company, he will not let it go until his hands are dead cold and they pry it out of his cold, dead hands. He’s not letting go of that company until he dies. And that’s just it.

And you know, I’m not trying to cause any problems for WWE or for Vince McMahon, because I love Vince to death,” Angle continued. “But there is no way he is going to let it go. He already set up, you know, Stephanie [McMahon] being in charge and Triple H being in charge of talent relations. He’s got everybody in the right positions so that he could continue to run the show.”

Of course, Vince McMahon is fully retired, and he is not running WWE from the shadows at all. Triple H is clearly the head of WWE Creative, and the changes reflect that already. We will have to wait and see how WWE will keep on introducing changes in the coming months.
