Kenny Omega Teases Future Match Against Xavier Woods

Kenny Omega’s in-ring skills made him one of the best pro wrestlers in the world. Omega has competed against the best of the best the pro wrestling world has to offer as well. He also hinted at facing Xavier Woods in a match.

The Cleaner has been absent from AEW television since he lost the AEW World Championship to Adam Page at AEW Full Gear. Omega is still recovering from his injuries, and it still might be a while until he’s back.

As fans are aware by now, Kenny Omega and WWE Superstar Xavier Woods are good friends in real life. They have also worked together outside their respective promotions.

Omega and Woods recently had a back and forth on Twitter for some reason. It featured The Cleaner hinting at facing Xavier Woods in a match, he had not been injured.

“You’re real lucky I’m injured otherwise I’d challenge you to a match, Creed.”

Kenny Omega still isn’t anywhere close to an in-ring return. In fact, Tony Khan said that there is no timeframe for his return as well. It remains to be seen when The Cleaner will return to AEW television.
