Sasha Banks and Naomi won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 38. Boss and Glow defeated the teams of Carmella and Queen Zelina, Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley, and Natalya and Shayna Baszler to win the titles on the grandest stage of them all.

The two were reportedly pushing hard for the recognition and elevation of the women’s tag teams on the main roster until the May 16th episode of Raw when they walked out of the building during the early moments of the show. WWE retaliated by stripping them of the titles and suspending them indefinitely.

Both stars are being advertised for the C2E2 convention. Banks had already been announced for the multi-day event in Chicago. She will now be joined by Naomi on August 6th and 7th. The Twitter account of the convention rolled out the announcement on Friday.

Another guest has entered the C2E2 ring. Trinity Fatu “Naomi” joins Mercedes Varnado “Sasha Banks” in Chicago Aug 6 & 7. Get your tickets now to meet this girl power duo: http://C2E222.com/BuyTickets

WWE is attempting to reconcile with Banks and Naomi in the wake of Vince McMahon’s exit from the company. The two superstars were removed from the company’s internal active roster listing earlier this month, but neither has been publicly released by the company.
