Sasha Banks and Naomi shocked the wrestling world when they walked out of Raw in the middle of the show amid frustrations with the WWE Creative. The higher-ups immediately took steps to punish them for their actions.

Banks made headlines once again when it was revealed that she’ll be appearing at the C2E2 convention in Chicago. The Boss will be doing photo ops and autographs on August 6th and 7th.

Sean Sapp reported from behind Fightful’s paywall that Banks is only accepting non-wrestling related bookings, and wrestling conventions who want her featured on their platforms will have to wait until 2023.

We also reached out to other convention organizers who confirmed they reached out to her reps, and were quoted a firm, specific rate. However, wrestling-related promoters that attempted to book her were told that she was only taking non-wrestling related bookings until January 1. WWE have still not officially confirmed her release publicly

One promoter that reached out said they “can’t imagine her not being released at this point.” Talent we followed up with are also under this impression, still. From an official capacity, nothing has changed. We weren’t told if her not accepting wrestling related bookings is a personal preference or tied to something contractual, but have exhausted sources to find out.

Banks has been spotted in a few places since her falling out with WWE came to light. Vince McMahon has already had her and Naomi removed from the internal roster. We’ll have to wait and see what’s next for the former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.
