The FTW Championship changed hands on the Fight for the Fallen special edition of Dynamite this week. Ricky Starks defeated Danhausen to retire the title, but ultimately lost it to Hook during an impromptu match.

Taz took to Twitter to react to his son’s first title win in AEW. Hook made quick work of Starks and chocked him out for the win. Check out what Taz had to say regarding Hook’s title win.

Starks had won the FTW Championship from Brian Cage at Fyter Fest Night 1 on July 14, 2021. The Absolute One defeated Brian Cage in a singles match via pinfall and ended his 377 day reign.
