The FTW Championship is one of the many titles on AEW TV. The title was reinstated by Taz at ‘Fyter Fest’ in 2020. Taz awarded the title to Brian Cage on night 2 of the TV special. Now that title has finally found its way back to New Jersey.

The title changed hands on Fight for the Fallen TV special of Dynamite this week. Ricky Starks successfully defended the title against Danhausen. Starks then called out anyone from the back to challenge for the title.

Hook showed up to the challenge and defeated Starks in an impromptu match. The Cold Hearted, Handsome Devil chocked the Absolute One to become the new FTW Champion.

Starks was interviewed by Tony Schiavone after the match. The former FTW Champion cut a fiery promo and told the fans in attendance and at home watching that he elevated the title to greater recognition.
