Jon Moxley became the AEW Interim World Champion at Forbidden Door in June. Mox beat NJPW ace Hiroshi Tanahashi to become AEW’s top title holder. He will have is next title defense in two weeks.

Moxley squared off against former ROH World Champion Rush in the opening match of Fight for the Fallen TV special on Dynamite this week. Mox successfully retained his titled after a brutal match.

Chris Jericho and other members of the Jericho Appreciation Society came out after the match. The Wizard issued a challenge to Mox for his title. The match was made official for ‘Quake by the Lake’ TV special edition of Dynamite.
