‘Donnybrook Match’ & More Announced For WWE SmackDown Next Week

The July 22nd episode of SmackDown emanated from the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. Stephanie McMahon kicked off the show and officially welcomed the WWE Universe to the post-Vince McMahon era of WWE.

Lacey Evans cut another heel promo on SmackDown this week. Evans was supposed to wrestle Aliyah in singles competition, but blindsided the SmackDown star with a sucker punch and forfeited the match. Another match between the two was announced for next week.

WWE also booked a match between Sheamus and Drew McIntyre for SmackDown next week. The Scottish Warrior and The Celtic Warrior will square off in a “Good Old Fashioned Donnybrook Match.” The winner will face Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns at WWE Clash at the Castle.

Plus, Maximum Male Models will unveil their 2022 Beachwear Collection next week. This was announced by Sofia Cromwell who made her debut as Max Dupri’s sister, Maxxine Dupri. For those wondering about Max Dupri, he was absent from this week’s SmackDown.
