Johnny Gargano Left WWE Because He Didn’t Want Anyone To Be In Control Of His Time

Johnny Gargano was considered the face of NXT by many fans due to his excellent feuds with the likes of Tommaso Ciampa, Adam Cole and many more. He has had various nicknames such as Johnny Wrestling, Johnny TakeOver and more, and they are all for good reason.

Gargano left NXT earlier this year and since then has been enjoying his time away from pro wrestling. He accomplished a lot in NXT, and fans simply couldn’t get enough of him.

While speaking on an episode of Good Karma Wrestling, Johnny explained why he didn’t sign another contract with WWE.

“I had this guaranteed contract with WWE I could take for a lot of money, and I could come back and I could keep doing what I’m doing. I just knew that with the baby on the way, I didn’t want to have anyone else being in control of my time, because I’m really only getting one shot at this. Me and Candice only plan on having one kid, so I want to be there and try to experience everything I can with Quill for his first year before I do anything else.”

We will have to wait and see what Johnny Gargano will do next. Fans are certainly excited for what’s in store for Gargano.
