Paige Is Excited To See Her Journey Continue After WWE

Paige had to end her in-ring career after she was kicked from the back by Sasha Banks during 2017 WWE MSG Show. That aggravated an already career-threatening neck issue. Afterwards, she kept herself busy with numerous roles in WWE and started her Twitch empire. She has now commented on her WWE departure as well.

The first-ever NXT Women’s Champion announced that she’ll be leaving WWE this month. As previously reported, Paige wrote an emotional letter to WWE on the last day of her contract. She was not released, as her contract expired. Fans and pro wrestlers alike gave her a ton of support after that.

Just a day after her exit, Paige took to Twitter and commented on her departure from the company. Paige thanked WWE and her fans for the amazing journey.

I wasn’t gonna be on social media today but popping on to say thank you all. Truly had a wonderful journey with @WWE and I’m excited to see my journey continue outside. Helluva run. Thanks for all the messages. I feel truly loved #Saraya

Paige was already announced for Starrcast V in Nashville, Tennessee, as well as World Association of Wrestling’s Fightmare IV on Saturday, October 15th. It remains to be seen what the future holds for the former WWE Superstar.
