Cesaro became one of the most underrated stars in all of WWE. For years, fans clamored to see Cesaro in a main event role, but it never quite happened. Cesaro also feels like a kid in a candy store in AEW.

He would eventually leave WWE earlier this year as well. Cesaro made his long-anticipated AEW debut at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view event.

The Swiss Superman faced off against Zack Sabre Jr. in what was a technical masterpiece from start to finish. Going by his real name, Claudio Castagnoli, he would go on to win the match.

While speaking during the Forbidden Door post-show media scrum, Claudio Castagnoli talked about his AEW debut. He stated that he feels like a kid in a candy store.

Sometimes, the stars align for a perfect moment. That’s what happened tonight. I hope Bryan is alright, I know Bryan will be back. It’s just a perfect fit. I just talked to Mox, we’ve been going back for 10-12 years, we’ve known each other for a long time. We used to ride together and work out together, we still do and still talk. It just fits. At the end of the day, I’m always looking for new challenges. Here in AEW, I’m like a kid in a candy store.

It remains to be seen how Claudio Castagnoli will fare in AEW now that he is officially All Elite. Fans couldn’t be happier for Claudio, and they hope he will find success in the company.
