Cesaro made his much anticipated debut at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view event. The Swiss Superman was revealed as the Bryan Danielson’s handpicked opponent against Zack Sabre Jr. He is also the newest member of the Blackpool Combat Club. William Regal did not accompany him to the ring.

Danielson was originally scheduled to face the NJPW star, but couldn’t because he wasn’t medically cleared to do so. For those not in the know, Cesaro is the latest addition to the Blackpool Combat Club.

Rumors of Cesaro making his debut gained traction after the former WWE star was spotted training at Flatbacks in Orlando multiple times over the last several weeks. We’ll have to wait and see what’s next in store for Cesaro now that he’s in AEW.
