Adam Cole is certainly one of the most skilled in-ring competitors in the pro wrestling world right now. He left NXT last year and made his way to AEW, much to the delight of fans. Cole also likely suffered a concussion during the AEW Forbidden Door event.

The winner of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament suffered an injury at the Double or Nothing pay-per-view as well. It was said that he was dealing with multiple injuries as well.

Despite that, Adam Cole competed in a fatal four-way match for the IWGP World Heavyweight title at Forbidden Door. The finish of the match was a weird one, as Cole collapsed to the floor when Kazuchika Okada went for the rainmaker.

Jay White would end up pinning Cole for the win after taking out Okada. Following the conclusion of the match, AEW medical staff checked on Cole. According to F4WOnline’s Bryan Alvarez, Adam Cole is believed to have suffered a concussion during the match.

Further details regarding the injury are not known. Perhaps it is best for Adam Cole if he takes time off and heals himself up before competing again. We’ll keep you updated on his status here at Ringside News.
