AEW Double or Nothing was a long night of pro wrestling. Those stars gave it their all, and it apparently resulted in a couple big performers racking up an injury.

Jeff Hardy and Adam Cole were both pulled from a planned 10-man tag team match on AEW Dynamite this week. It was later confirmed that Hardy and Cole were pulled. The match is now an 8-man tag.

Bryan Alvarez commented on this during Wrestling Observer Live where he confirmed that Cole is hurt as well. This was not just a case of taking Cole out to even the sides after Jeff Hardy was pulled.

It is now an 8-man so they also pulled Adam Cole. I was told that Adam Cole is also hurt, so both of the guys are hurt. They didn’t just pull Adam Cole because they wanted to go from a 10-man to an 8-man.

We have not heard about the extent of Adam Cole’s injury, but Alvarez noted it was likely Cole’s shoulder. He certainly gave it his all against Samoa Joe at Double or Nothing. He won the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, but he also likely paid a price with his body as Samoa Joe gave him quite a beating.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
