Sasha Banks Advised To Not Join AEW Amid WWE Release Rumors

Sasha Banks and Naomi made headlines after they walked out in the middle of WWE Raw last month. Many people were upset with their actions, and they were given the appropriate punishment as well. Sasha Banks was also advised to not join AEW.

It was recently reported by Raj Giri of Wrestling Inc that Sasha Banks was released from WWE after the whole fiasco. The company has yet to comment on the situation.

Many believe she might go to AEW as well. While speaking on his Hall of Fame show, Booker T stated that AEW would not be the best place for Sasha Banks.

“As far as Tony Khan making that phone call quick [to sign Banks], but I don’t know if that’s the place for Sasha Banks. I am really not sure if AEW is the place for Sasha Banks.

The reason I say that, [sic] that AEW may not be the place for Sasha – let me just put a bow on that. After Sasha goes and works Britt Baker, where does she go from there? I’m not throwing any shade on Thunder Rose, Nyla Rose, or any of those other girls.”

WWE also believes they can clone a new Sasha Banks. Banks could be huge asset to the women’s division in AEW if she ends up going there, which may or may not happen. We’ll keep you updated on this going story.
