Jeff Hardy Feeling Remorseful After DUI Arrest

Jeff Hardy’s future in the wrestling business is in question after his latest DUI arrest. Hardy blew over three times the legal blood alcohol limit on his breathalyzer test. He has been suspended without pay from AEW and must undergo treatment and demonstrate continued sobriety to rejoin the company.

Matt Hardy has been candid about his feelings on the situation. He recently opened up about the origins of his brother’s demons. Matt also spoke about how Jeff Hardy has been doing since his arrest.

On the latest episode of “The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy,” the AEW star said that Jeff is feeling very remorseful about what he did. He is struggling and is well aware that he made a massive mistake. Matt said Jeff Hardy will have to decide to better himself going forward.

“After speaking to Jeff the last couple of days, he is so remorseful. So embarrassed. He like hates himself. That’s a part of it, too. He has to know, obviously, what he did was atrocious and terrible, terrible decision-making, but he has to know that people love him.

It’s very important. At the end of the day, it all comes down to the individual. You have to keep yourself in check and be on top of yourself. You are the only person that can really ensure that you’re not going to go array or in a bad direction whether it’s because of mental or addiction issues. If you don’t decide to do it on your own, you’re going to kind of half-ass it and you don’t get any positivity or productivity out of it.”

Jeff Hardy has a lot of soul searching and hard work ahead if he ever hopes to compete again. Matt Hardy can offer him support but noted that it will be up to Jeff to want to improve himself. Time will tell if Jeff can find the strength to do so.
