Tony D’Angelo’s Associate ‘Two Dimes’ Released From NXT Contract

WWE gives a lot of people an opportunity, but it doesn’t work out for everyone. Now one more NXT superstar has been fired.

Dave Meltzer reported, and it was later confirmed that Troy Donovan has been released. Troy has been going as “Two Dimes” as part of Tony D’Angelo’s crew in recent weeks.

It was noted that Donovan violated a WWE policy. Details of the policy violation have yet to be revealed, but this is the first time we’ve heard this reason given.

This is a bit of a shock, and terrible timing as well. Tony D went down with an injury at the NXT live show last night. It was not noted if those two things are related at all.
