Bryan Danielson gave it his all at Double or Nothing and the Blackpool Combat Club member appeared on AEW television after that, but he did not wrestle again. It appears that Danielson is injured and whatever is wrong with him is keeping him from flying.

Danielson is allowed to take other dates outside of AEW with Tony Khan’s approval. TK did block couple of indie dates, but Bryan still had an appearance for this weekend where it doesn’t appear that he was slated to wrestle.

According to Fightful’s paywall, Danielson missed a meet and greet. The promoter was told that Danielson was injured and unable to fly. So, he had to pull out of the event. As of this writing Danielson and AEW have not commented.

Danielson missed the scheduled meet & greet, and when fans showed, they were told that he would not be there. A staff member told a fan that Danielson was injured and unable to fly, which the venue itself also confirmed to Fightful. Thus far Danielson nor AEW have commented or confirmed.

The Anarchy in the Arena at AEW Double or Nothing received 5 stars and a lot of fan praise. We’ll have to see what’s up with this situation, but AEW certainly doesn’t need to start losing more top members of their locker room, especially after CM Punk’s injury.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
