AEW presented Double or Nothing on Sunday, but that event might have been a bit too much for one participant. Jeff Hardy and Adam Cole were both pulled from a big advertised match this week.

It was previously announced that Matt and Jeff Hardy would team with Jurassic Express and Christian Cage to go against all five members of The Undisputed Elite. Now AEW has edited that match a bit. The new match is now Jungle Boy, Luchasaurus, Matt Hardy, and Christian Cage against The Young Bucks and reDRagon.

See the fallout from #AEWDoN as huge 8-man tag match is set for #AEWDynamite THIS WEDNESDAY at 8/7c LIVE on TBS, as #AEW World Tag Team Champs @boy_myth_legend/@luchasaurus team w/ @Christian4Peeps/@MATTHARDYBRAND to face the @youngbucks & #reDRagon (@theBobbyFish/@KORcombat)!

It’s unknown why Jeff Hardy and Adam Cole were taken out of the match. It stands to reason that if one of the two of them is injured then it’s likely Hardy considering how slowly he was moving at Double or Nothing.

It should also be noted that Matt Hardy was on his Twitch stream today and he did not indicate that anything was wrong with his brother. We will continue to monitor the situation and keep you updated if we hear anything regarding the match change.
