Nikkita Lyons was the odds-on favorite to win the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament until an injury forced her to withdraw from the tournament. Nikkita’s sudden exit shocked her fans but the “Lioness of NXT 2.0” is more than determined to roar her way back.

WWE announced Tiffany Stratton as Nikkita’s replacement in the tournament during a backstage segment between Fallon Henley, Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs. Tiffany won the match against Henley and earned a spot in the Women’s Breakout.

Nikkita took to Twitter on Tuesday and shared her reaction to the news of getting removed from the Women’s Breakout Tournament due to injury. The NXT 2.0 star thanked her fans for the well wishes and sent love and positive vibes.

We hope that Nikkita gets back in the ring soon. The Women’s Breakout Tournament will continue without her. The finals will take place between Tiffany Stratton and Roxanne Perez. The winner will earn the opportunity to challenge for the NXT Women’s Championship.
