Kenny Omega Is Nowhere Close To An In-Ring Return

Kenny Omega’s in-ring skills have made him one of the most talked-about wrestlers in the industry. His AEW World Title reign was excellent for many fans as he has competed in several top-class matches. Unfortunately, he isn’t anywhere near ready for an in-ring return.

Omega has not been seen on AEW television following his match at Full Gear back in November last year. This is because he took time off to heal from all his injuries that took their toll on his body.

The Young Bucks recently teased that when Omega is healthy he’ll return and dike it out against Vikingo. According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, “there isn’t even close to a date set for Omega to return.” 

It was further said that the third AAA TripleMania event will be taking place in October. If Omega is healthy then the match could happen, as it is something Omega personally asked for.

Omega underwent hernia surgery last month as well. In the meantime, Kenny Omega is working as producer at AEW TV tapings. We’ll have to see when Omega makes his return to the squared circle.
