Kenny Omega Recently Underwent Major Hernia Surgery

Kenny Omega’s in-ring skills have certainly made him one of the most popular wrestlers in recent memory. His AEW World Title reign was excellent for many fans as he has competed in several top-class matches.

Omega has been absent from AEW television following his match at AEW Full Gear back in November 2021. This is because he took time off to recuperate from all his injuries.

According to Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Kenny Omega recently underwent major hernia surgery. It was said he will need around 2 months to recover.

His status for the upcoming NJPW AEW crossover ‘Forbidden Door’ event is also not known at this time. We will have to wait and see when the best bout machine will be back.
