Madcap Moss beat Happy Corbin at WrestleMania Backlash last Sunday, but it was Corbin that got the last laugh last night on SmackDown. The two have been at war with each other following Corbin’s loss to Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 38.

WWE announced on Saturday that Moss suffered a cervical contusion following a sneak attack by Happy Corbin during an in-ring segment on SmackDown last night.

As first reported on #TalkingSmack, @BaronCorbinWWE‘s attack has left @MadcapMoss with a cervical contusion.

Moss was being interviewed by Kayla Braxton when he was struck with steel chair by Corbin, who put his neck in the chair and hit it with the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal trophy.

It is unknown if Madcap Moss will show up next week on SmackDown. Injuries on WWE TV are a routine occurrence to further storylines and feuds. We’ll have to wait and see what’s next for Madcap Moss.
