Former football star Parker Boudreaux became a viral sensation last year after several fans compared to Brock Lesnar, touting him as the ‘Next Big Thing.’ Even Paul Heyman heaped praise onto the 22-year-old star. It all led to Boudreaux eventually signing developmental deal with WWE back in February of last year.

He became Harland in NXT and was getting used to how things worked in WWE’s developmental brand. As part of WWE’s latest slew of cuts, Harland was one of them.

While speaking to In The Kliq, WWE Hall Of Famer Mick Foley talked about WWE’s latest slew of releases. The Hardcore Legend made it clear he was bummed about Harland’s WWE release.

“Mr. McMahon has a great track record of [laughs]. There are some people he let go, who go on to be bigger stars than they were with him.”

Harland was ultimately released as WWE officials believed he would not progress in the ring in terms of what they want. We’ll have to see what the future holds for Harland.
