WWE released Dexter Lumis along with nine other NXT performers Friday, April 29th. On NXT 2.0, Lumix played the husband of Indi Hartwell and the two were involved in friendly but competitive rivalry with Persia Pirotta and Duke Hudson.

Former WWE star Killer Kross reacted to the release of his old friend. Kross and Lumis are no strangers to each other and were colleagues during their time with IMPACT Wrestling and WWE.

See you soon Sam. #SamShawSamShawSamShaw

Dexter Lumis made a name for himself in Triple H’s NXT. The 38-year-old was featured in some of the most entertaining segments and matches in the black and gold brand’s history.

Lumis reacted to his NXT release earlier during the day. He posted a video of him watching a portrait of Vince McMahon sitting on a bench press machine. The clip ends with Lumis facing the camera to do his signature thumbs up.

Now that he’s back to being Samuel Shaw, do you want to see Lumis reunite with Killer Kross? Lumis will enter free agency after 30 days of his NXT release. We’ll have to wait and see what’s next for him.
