WWE will bring the final SmackDown before WrestleMania Backlash to Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, NY. The company announced several matches for the May 6th edition of the blue brand tonight.

Xavier Woods squared off against Ridge Holland tonight on SmackDown. The New Day star defeated the Fight Night member with a backwoods. Sheamus then challenged Kofi Kingston for a one-on-one match.
The Celtic Warrior defeated Kofi with a brogue kick. Fight Night attacked New Day following Sheamus’ victory over Kofi. Holland brought out a table and powerbombed Woods on it, setting up a tag team tables match for next week.
The other match announced for SmackDown next week will take place between Sasha Banks and Shayne Baszler. You can check the lineup announced so far for SmackDown next week below.
