Why Tony Khan Won’t Invite Eric Bischoff Back To AEW

Eric Bischoff’s opinion in the pro wrestling world has a lot of value simply due to his vast knowledge of the business. Bischoff isn’t necessarily everyone’s favorite and he is well aware of that fact. He also explained why Tony Khan won’t invite him back to AEW.

Eric Bischoff previously criticized Tony Khan for taking multiple shots at WWE last year. Bischoff told Tony Khan to stay quiet and focus on his own product. Their relationship soured after that.

Bischoff even previously stated that he believes Tony Khan is little thin-skinned when it comes to criticism of AEW. While speaking with the MackMania Podcast, Eric Bischoff explained why Tony Khan won’t invite him back to AEW.

”I have been beating this drum, and this is one of the reasons why Tony probably thinks I am a pain in his ass at this point. I’ll never get invited to another AEW event, which is okay. I am a little sad about that, but I get it, I don’t take it personally. But I’ve been saying for over a year now when it comes to AEW. And this is why I am concerned about their dirt sheet booking approach, booking for the internet if you will. Is that if you’re not growing, you’re dying.”

Eric Bischoff even accused Tony Khan of escalating tensions between them. Bischoff won’t return to AEW by the looks of it and it is something he has fully accepted now.
