Jim Cornette Says Sammy Guevara Is A Good Heel Thanks To His ‘Slappable Face’

Sammy Guevara has become one of the highlights of AEW television, mostly due to his charisma and in-ring prowess. Guevara simply loves making fun of his opponents in general. Guevara has also been suggested to turn heel.

Sammy Guevara and Tay Conti have become public enemy #1 in AEW. This is due to them becoming an insufferable couple for many. Sammy Guevara and Tay Conti were heavily booed during a previous taping of AEW Rampage as well.

In fact, even now fans are outright rejecting them. While speaking on the Jim Cornette Experience, Jim Cornette believes that Sammy Guevara should turn heel because of his slappable face.

“I think that would be fantastic. The next step is to turn them heel because Sammy already proved when he was a heel that he is more than a good heel, he even has the slappable face, he can be a smart ass, he can do good sh*t in the ring. If somebody needs to keep control of him and not let him do some of the things he wants to do, yeah with the pretty girl that’s exactly what gets heat.”

We’ll have to see whether Sammy Guevara and Tay Conti will be turned heel or not. By the looks of it, that could be the direction in the future.
