AEW Fans Turned On Sammy Guevara & Tay Conti During Boston Tapings

Sammy Guevara became one of the highlights of AEW television thanks to his excellent in-ring skills. Ever since Guevara and Tay Conti confirmed their relationship at the beginning of this year, it didn’t take long for fans to turn on them.

Recently, Sammy Guevara and Tay Conti dropped a super steamy photo to prove what NSFW acts they did with the title. They did so in order to further their feud against Dan Lambert, Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about the latest set of AEW Rampage tapings in Boston. Meltzer revealed that Sammy Guevara and Tay Conti were heavily booed for most of their segment.

Ethan Page called them a “PR nightmare waiting to happen as well,” and this got a positive response from the Boston crowd. We’ll have to see if those boos continue, but AEW are hard to win back if they sour on someone, just ask Cody Rhodes.

Guevara and Conti were said to be distracted by all the hate they received. The boos were so audible that Guevara even had to acknowledge them. It is unlikely Guevara and Conti will stop getting booed anytime soon by the looks of it.
