Since his debut, Satnam Singh has become a topic of discussion within the AEW locker room. India’s first NBA draft has received mixed internal reaction on his recent appearance.

This week’s Dynamite ended with Singh, Sonjay Dutt and Jay Lethal attacking the new ROH World Television Champion, Samoa Joe, just after his main event title bout with Minoru Suzuki. Later on, it was noted that Singh was signed last September and brought to the storyline as a means to bridge the gap between AEW and the Eurovision India Channel, and to facilitate the growth of AEW’s brand in India.

However, a report from Fightful Select noted that multiple AEW talents did not agree with the execution of Singh’s debut. They do believe that from a business standpoint, it was a good decision.

There is no news yet on when Singh will make his in-ring debut. However, the word going around is that he has been working hard at training since his signing last September. AEW announced back then that Singh started his training under QT Marshall and Cody Rhodes.
