WWE later announced on their website that the two will collide once again at the WrestleMania Backlash pay-per-view event. The premium live event takes place May 8 (Sunday).

After making his earth-shattering return to WWE at WrestleMania, Cody Rhodes will once again go head-to-head with “The Visionary” Seth Rollins in a highly anticipated rematch at WrestleMania Backlash.

WWE aired a commercial during last week’s SmackDown wherein they announced that rematch between the two superstars will take place on the May 6th edition of SmackDown in Uniondale, NY.

It appears that the two will be involved in some sort of segment ahead of their WrestleMania Backlash clash. WWE rarely comes up with explanation to the sudden changes. We’ll have to wait to see how they proceed with the storyline.
