Cody Rhodes returned to WWE last Saturday at WrestleMania 38. Cody wrestled Seth “Freakin” Rollins in a solid 20-minute match during the first night of WrestleMania 38.

During SmackDown this week, they aired a commercial where WWE announced that a rematch between the two superstars will take place on the May 6th edition of Friday Night SmackDown. The American Nightmare and the Visionary will collide once more time as SmackDown returns to Uniondale, NY.

Cody Rhodes was initially scheduled to appear on tonight’s edition of SmackDown, but WWE changed the plans for the Son of a Plumber. Cody will instead be facing The Miz this Monday on RAW.

Cody kicked off this week’s RAW with a passionate promo. Cody talked about wanting to win WWE’s top title. He was then interrupted by Rollins who welcomed Cody back into the WWE with a handshake.
