Ringside News exclusively reported that Cody Rhodes backing out of WrestleMania was made up stuff, with a tenured member of WWE’s creative team terming it as “fake news.” Rollins was booked for a match in Dallas, but his opponent was not set to be revealed until he was in the ring. When that time came, Cody made his entrance.

Cody signed with WWE last month. The new deal presumably allows him to complete any existing deals including appearing on The Go Big Show he had prior to signing with the company.
