Tonight’s episode of SmackDown aired from Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. WWE capped off the show with a main event segment featuring The Bloodline and Paul Heyman.

Tonight’s SmackDown also featured a singles match between Sami Zayn and Drew McIntyre. The Scottish Psychopath won the match via count out. Another match between the two will place next Friday night.

Sami lost his WrestleMania match against Johnny Knoxville. The former Intercontinental Champion told Adam Pearce he’d face any superstar who’d walk through the door during tonight’s SmackDown. That opponent turned out to be Drew McIntyre.

WWE announced that Intercontinental Champion Ricochet will defend his title against Jinder Mahal next week on SmackDown. The match was made official by Adam Pearce after Jinder insisted on having the match.

Neither Jinder nor Ricochet had a match at WrestleMania. Ricochet was also absent from tonight’s SmackDown to rest and spend time with his son following his successful title on WrestleMania SmackDown.
