Cody Rhodes left AEW earlier this year and this was seen as a shocking move for many. Fans began to speculate where he’d go next, most of whom believed it was going to be WWE. Tony Khan also commented on his relationship with Tony Khan.

The American Nightmare finally made his return to WWE after 6 long years at WrestleMania 38 Night One. He beat Seth Rollins in a solid match that kept fans engaged from start to finish.

While speaking on the Barstool Rasslin’ podcast, Tony Khan talked about his relationship with Cody Rhodes after he left AEW for WWE. Khan stated that there is no ill will and that they are still friends.

“It is honestly one of those things, you know, we just were unable to reach an agreement on going forward. And I think he has found a situation which is good for him, and we are in a great position right now; there’s no ill will, either way, we are still good friends, and I wish him the best, and I think he wishes us the best publicly and privately. So it’s all good.”
