WWE recently announced that several new projects were in the works with cable network A&E. The company found success in the partnership after producing several biographies of WWE superstars last year. Filming for the latest WWE-related series has begun.

Mike Johnson of PW Insider reported that WWE began filming interviews over the weekend for the upcoming “WWE Rivals” show. A&E ordered 40 hours of the show. There is no word on who will be featured or when the series will air.

In a press release after the deal was announced, WWE described the premise of Rivals. The show will discuss the stories behind the biggest feuds in the company’s history. Interviews with those who lived through the rivalries will give fans a direct account of how things went down.

WWE has been shopping content to just about any buyer they can find. President Nick Khan said that WWE is willing to listen to any and all potential partners. The relationship with A&E has proven fruitful thus far.

The show will be the latest in a string of WWE docuseries. In addition to the Biography episodes, WWE has also been airing new episodes of WWE Evil. The show examines some of the greatest heel characters in the history of the promotion.

We will have to wait a little longer to find out when WWE Rivals will air. There are plenty of great feuds to draw from. More wrestling content is never a bad thing!
