Cody Rhodes Reacts To His WWE Return

The world of pro wrestling is still reacting to Cody Rhodes’ triumphant return to WWE in six years. The American Nightmare came back to where his career kickstarted as he squared off against Seth “Freakin” Rollins on the first night of WrestleMania 38.

The two put on a spectacle. Fans might have hard time choosing between Cody versus Rollins and Bianca Belair versus Becky Lynch for the RAW Women’s Championship as their pick for match of the night.

Cody took to Twitter following his glorious return to WWE. The son of the late great Dusty Rhodes summed up the reaction to his return in just four words. Check out his reaction below.

Wrestling is a love story

Cody Rhodes versus Seth Rollins had been in the works for weeks. Ringside News exclusively got scoop on the rumors that Cody won’t show up at Mania from a tenured member of WWE’s creative team. The person said it was “fake news.”

Cody signed with WWE last month. The new deal presumably allows him to complete any existing deals including appearing on The Go Big Show he had prior to signing with the company.

Cody and wife Brandi Rhodes parted ways with All Elite Wrestling in February. AEW President and CEO announced their departure on social media. Cody had been an on-screen talent and executive vice president of AEW.
