Shane McMahon caused a lot of issues during the Royal Rumble planning this year. Then he was sent home and plans were nixed for him at Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania. That being said, he’s still around Dallas for WrestleMania 38.

We exclusively reported that Shane McMahon was “let go” by Vince McMahon after he hijacked the men’s Royal Rumble planning. He was not technically “employed” by WWE, but all plans for him were scrapped, including a Mania match against Seth Rollins.

Ringside News asked around about Shane McMahon being in Dallas ahead of WrestleMania. We can confirm that there is currently nothing planned for Shane at WrestleMania. All WWE creative for Shane was trashed after the Royal Rumble and nothing has changed in that regard.

We cannot stress how little of a deal it is that Shane McMahon is in Dallas. As we previously noted, he is going to be at the Hall of Fame ceremony, because he doesn’t miss that event. Unless something drastic changes, Shane McMahon won’t be on the WrestleMania show.

The WWE Hall of Fame will air this year, and Shane McMahon might make his way on camera. If Shane-O Mac is seen on television during WrestleMania weekend then it’s going to be during the WWE Hall of Fame, because he is not booked for WrestleMania.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
