Miro has been absent from AEW television for quite a while. The Redeemer captivated fans with his latest character. AEW viewers have surely missed him. It turns out Miro is keeping busy during his time off from wrestling.

The Bulgarian star revealed on social media that he has been living in Brooklyn and working on an exciting new project. Miro is starring in a pilot for a television series called “East New York,” according to IMDB. The AEW hoss said he is experiencing something completely different during his time in the Big Apple.

Miro introduced his character in a follow-up Instagram post. He will be playing Nikolai Dushkin. Not much else is known about the role at this time.

“Living in Brooklyn for couple of weeks. Very excited about shooting this great pilot!!! Meet Nikolai Dushkin….. and pickles, of course”

Miro recently signed contract extension to stay with All Elite Wrestling. If the show gets picked up, they might have to work out something scheduling-wise. For now, it’s just in the pilot stage.

Time will tell if “East New York” winds up finding a network or cable home. Miro would be incredibly busy if the show did get picked up. Miro will be sure to provide his fans with further updates on his social media pages.
