WWE continues to introduce new ring names for newcomers. Other than the name, there are few details available. WWE sometimes launches a wrestler the next week after filing for trademark. Others make their debut before the filing is even made public.

WWE filed trademark applications for Grand Jury, WWE Grand Jury, and WWE The Grand Jury with the USPTO. The entertainment services category are covered by all of the filings. At this moment, it is unclear how the trademark will be used.

According to PW Insider, WWE filed recently filed trademarks for the following trademarks that all seem to have a “jury” theme.

The trademarks were goods and services in the following realm: “Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment”

WWE recently filed a trademark to protect the Attitude Era scratch logo. According to the USPTO, there is nothing remarkable about the filing. Rather than a normal blanket trademark, this one specifically cites the intended use as for bedding, towels, and sleeping bags.
