Conrad Thompson is shrugging off a nasty email from a Roman Reigns fan after he doubled down on his comments against the OTC, and he made sure everyone saw it.
On October 8, 2026, the wrestling podcaster posted the message on Twitter after going off on Reigns again and saying The Tribal Chief doesn’t belong on a wrestling Mount Rushmore. Thompson didn’t bother with a long reply. He just posted the email with a sarcastic caption.
“Fan mail on a Thursday morning. Sorry for having an opinion and answering a question when asked. But hey, at least ole Lena ‘acknowledged me!’ Happy Thursday yall!”
The email came from a woman named Lena Dee, and she came in hot. She accused Thompson of refusing to let the Reigns topic go and said he hasn’t “learned your lesson,” then went straight after his motives.
“At this point, anything you say about Roman goes beyond just giving an opinion. You’re attacking the guy for no real reason, and continue to badmouth him when you don’t have to, other than for clout, views, and likes. “Go talk that s*** to his face. I bet you won’t.”
Then she turned to comparing the two men’s lives, and the email got personal fast, saying, “Roman has accomplished more in his life and career than you ever will. He’s 1000x the person you’ll ever be.” She argued Reigns has no need to prove himself to anyone, Mount Rushmore or not, and that his résumé and his fan support speak for themselves. Her opinion of people who disagree was just as blunt.
“Roman haters are the most miserable human beings ever. You’re lucky Roman is as nice as he is, and has the level of class he has.”
This isn’t the first time Thompson has taken heat over Reigns. Back in August, he said Reigns is the most overrated main-event star in WWE history, which triggered days of backlash and a pile of hate mail. He doubled down on Something to Wrestle with JBL, comparing Reigns to Brock Lesnar and arguing that Lesnar gets criticized for part-time work while Reigns gets a free pass.
Based on his tweet, Thompson isn’t losing sleep over the angry emails. He’s treating them like a running joke, and with Reigns fans clearly still fired up, it doesn’t look like the debate is going away anytime soon. Whether you think Thompson is just offering a hot take or fishing for attention, the Reigns conversation clearly still gets people talking.
So where do you land? Should a podcaster be able to question Roman Reigns’ GOAT status without getting flooded with hate mail, or does Thompson keep poking the bear on purpose? Tell us what you think in the comments, and let us know what wrestling stories you want us to cover next.
