We haven’t seen CM Punk since he defeated MJF in the Dog Collar match at AEW Revolution earlier this month. It has been officially announced by the promotion that “The Second City Saint” is returning on this Wednesday’s Dynamite on TBS.

This week’s AEW Dynamite is happening in Austin, Texas. Punk tweeted on March 21 that he was headed to the same place. Following Punk’s tweet AEW officially announced the his return on Dynamite.

For the first time since his brutal and bloody #DogCollar Match with @The_MJF at #AEWRevolution, the #BestInTheWorld@CMPunk returns to #AEWDynamite LIVE TOMORROW NIGHT from the @HEBCenter in Cedar Park, TX at 8pm ET / 7pm CT on @TBSNetwork!

As noted earlier, Punk was involved in the filming of the second season of “Heels” of Starz, a reiteration of his role as heel wrestler Ricky Rabies. It seems that this was the reason for Punk’s recent absence on AEW TV.
