Bianca Belair Out For Unspecified Period Of Time Due To Throat Injury

Bianca Belair is one of the top female stars in the WWE. The E.S.T remains a dominant force in and outside the ring. Her meteoric rise to fame, however, did not sit well with another major WWE superstar.

This past week’s episode of Monday Night RAW saw the return of RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch. Big Time Becky sneak up on the challenger from behind and sent her crashing into the ring post while her neck was covered in steel chair.

WWE provided the latest update on Bianca’s health Saturday and said she suffered a fractured hyoid bone in her throat as a result of the attack by the RAW Women’s champion.

Fortunately, Bianca will not be needing surgery. The attack has, however, put her out of action for an unspecified amount of time, according to a statement from the company.

Bianca Belair suffered a fractured hyoid bone in her throat as a result of the attack perpetrated by Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch last Monday on Raw, WWE.com has learned.

The WWE Universe watched in horror as Lynch took out her WrestleMania challenger in vicious fashion, wrapping a chair around Belair’s head and neck before sending her into a steel ring post.

Although Belair will not need surgery, she will be out of action for an unspecified amount of time as she recovers, officials say.

WWE is known to introduce injuries to captivate the interest of fans. Bianca vs. Becky is one of the biggest storylines heading into WrestleMania this year. The two are set to collide on Saturday (April 1) inside the AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas.
