Kevin Owens called out Stone Cold Steve Austin at the end of last night’s WWE Raw. Fans have been anticipating the moment ever since Owens began trash-talking Texas on television. WWE said that Austin would have response this afternoon.

As Ringside News exclusively reported, Steve Austin is set for a KO Show segment at WrestleMania. Vince McMahon wants him for more, but a lot of things depend on that happening.

That response came via a Twitter video just after noon. Steve Austin has accepted Kevin Owens’ invitation to WrestleMania. The Texas Rattlesnake doesn’t care what kind of confrontation it is, he is coming for a fight.

“Nineteen years ago I wrestled my last match in a WWE ring. After three Rock Bottoms, 1-2-3, I lost the match. For 19 years, I had to live with that defeat, knowing my time is up.

Kevin Owens, I want to thank you. I want to thank you for waking something up deep inside me that I’ve kept buried for 19 years. Ever since you started running that damn mealy-mouth of yours talking about the state of Texas, the great state of Texas, you got my attention.

Why would you want to do that, Kevin? I can think of two reasons. One, you are one dumb son of a bitch. And two, you are fixin’ to get your ass kicked by Stone Cold Steve Austin. If you want to call this the KO show, a match, a fight, a brawl, whatever. I will guarantee you this. In Dallas, Texas, where I started my career, at WrestleMania, Stone Cold Steve Austin is going to open up one last can of whoop-ass on you, Kevin Owens. And that’s the bottom line because Stone Cold said so.”

Steve Austin and Kevin Owens are set to throw down at WrestleMania 38. It might not be a fully-fledged match, but Austin sounds ready to get physical. Kevin Owens could be in for the most stunning WrestleMania moment of all.
