Gail Kim recently appeared on Busted Open Radio. She talked about many things, including the announcement that Christy Hemme has joined IMPACT once again with an undefined backstage role. However, she announced intensions for her career as well.

The former WWE star confirmed that she will never be wrestling again. Kim said that while she likes to produce wrestling matches, she tries to overlook the “itch” she gets when she starts to get a bit physical. She added that while she misses being in a ring, her body reminds that she cannot go back.

I feel good. When I’m producing and I’m around the ring, and I start to get a little bit physical, I say, ‘Oh Gail, you’re getting that itch.” I do miss it. Of course I miss it, but my body is a constant reminder.

The former pro-wrestling sensation added that she often asks herself if she wants to make things worse for herself. Well, she said that there are many factors for her to come out of retirement, there are many things that could grow worse due to it.

It’s not even just that. There are just so many factors for me to come out of retirement and do that again. It’s like, ‘OK, do I want my back to get worse. Do I want to take that chance of making it where I do need the back surgery?’ My memory has gotten a little bit worse throughout the whole 15 or 20 years. So I’m like, ‘Do I really want to make my memory worse?’

Kim will never return to the ring as she knows that it’s an unfeasible desire. However, she said that she was satisfied with how her career as a pro-wrestler ended. She gets satisfaction from helping out backstage, she added.

Who knows what can happen. I was very satisfied with my end match and the way that it happened. How many people can just close that door and just be happy with that? That’s a very rare thing, so for me, am I willing to mess that up no matter how much I miss it? I get satisfaction from being backstage and helping.

As a former WWE superstar, Gail Kim has been very critical of Vince McMahon and his treatment of WWE Women’s Division. While she’s applauded Triple H for leading the NXT Women’s Division, she’s said that Vince McMahon is literally Satan in the past.
